Investigate performance on `///` dataset #150

It seems sluggish. Both lsdir and status_light phases. Maybe a variant of https://github.com/datalad/datalad-gooey/issues/43

Cloning /// takes the same time from Gooey and Command line (around 20 seconds).

On Windows, cloning takes a similar amount of time again (roughly 1/3 more than on Linux, 32 seconds)
