init|update parameterization #114

In the light of #3, #27, #42, and #112 we should revisit the API design.

We should be able to perform an unlimited export of an XNAT
We want to be able to perform constrained updates, regardless of the full scope of a dataset(-hierarchy)
We want to have the convenience of not having to hand-browse an XNAT UI

How shall we consolidate these? Are there more demands?
