Malformed Barcode

Using the Studio and the barcode generated on saving the project, the Memor 10 accepts the Owner Device component of the barcode but then in Scan2Deploy returns an error message "malformed data". Tried on different PCs and different company PCs, of course these are UK PC so that may be the difference, things like @ and # are transposed.

Hi Toby, Would you mind trying again using the latest version of Scan2Deploy Studio? We released version 1.2.3306 at the end of February.

This release is designed to work with Scan2Deploy Agent v1.18 To update your version of Scan2Deploy Agent to v1.18, scan the barcode found here, or use the Datalogic Apps page in Scan2Deploy Studio.

Hi Cody,

I’ve tried the 1.22 version and can confirm that it does work with Memor 10 with 1.07 firmware

The Memor 1 is less compliant, while it completes the Device Owner it then states “Invalid data (bad -format). Obviously in v3.07 is not up to date, but the version is a lot earlier. V3.07 is still the current firmware though it should have been updated at the end of February, I assume Covid-19 has got in the way.

Hi Toby, On your Memor 1, are you installing the latest Scan2Deploy APK by scanning this barcode at the "Hi There!" screen? https://datalogic.github.io/scan2deploy/android#install-latest-version

Yes that works, it isn’t clear though how I’d add the APK deployment in AEQR, there is obviously a link but not where or what goes where in the AEQR as far as I looked.
