Beat boundaries rendering on top of points #17

When a user executes a search that includes one or more beats the beat boundaries are getting stacked on top of the points that denote each of the crimes. This means that the user cannot click on the points to get the detail about the individual crimes. After a bit of toying around with this, it would seem that this is mainly happening in Chrome.
