Some of our legacy apps use Mapbox basemaps. In the past month, the style layer we commonly used was deprecated. Patching this requires upgrading mapbox.js and using a new Studio styleLayer.

I applied patches to these projects:

• https://github.com/datamade/ihs-website-v2/pull/369
• https://github.com/datamade/risk-and-reach/pull/235

It would be useful to have documentation on creating and using these Mapbox basemaps in the event we want to use them instead of our standard Google tiles.
