The numbers that we display over the "Donations and expenditures over time" chart are a bit misleading since we're not including the receipts since the last quarterly filing and are only adding the total receipts from each of the quarterly filings. Let's either somehow make it more explicit what's happening there or add in the more recent receipts.
I'm also thinking we ought to add a "expenditures since last quarterly filing" line into the "Finances" table, at least for the independent expenditure committees since we now get that info from the SBOE.
