Invullen van dct:license en dct:rights #22

dct:license en dct:rights zijn te vinden in resource én in dataservice. Wanneer moet je nu welke eigenschap invullen?

In de volgende Issue van de W3C dat over hetzelfde probleem gaast, wordt aanbevolen om deze informatie bij distributie op te nemen. Omdat er verschillen kunnen zitten tussen distributies of omdat er geen distributies gepubliceerd zijn bij een dataset kan deze informatie ook op datasetniveau worden ingevuld. Dit brengt wel de mogelijkheid tot tegenstrijdigheden met zich mee.

Notitie W3C:

Information about licences and rights SHOULD be provided on the level of Distribution. Information about licences and rights MAY be provided for a Dataset in addition to but not in stead of the information provided for the Distributions of that Dataset. Providing licence or rights information for a Dataset that is different from information provided for a Distribution of that Dataset should be avoided as this may create legal conflicts
