We want to check anonymous visible items. It should be exactly the same items in old and new DSpace.
How to get the list:
old DSpace: take only those items, that have explicit read resource policy for anonymous group
new DSpace: uses REST API call /server/api/discover/search/objects?sort=score,DESC&size=100&page=3&configuration=default&dsoType=ITEM&embed=thumbnail&embed=item%2Fthumbnail
modify the page= parameter, response contains number of pages and also UUID of each item.
After obtaining the list, find differences (UUIDs that are not in both) and investigate why. There are valid reasons why this could be.
If item is in new list, but not in old, it is possible it's still visible, you might check https://lindat.mff.cuni.cz/repository/xmlui/.
