PTZ Patrol?

Is it possible to use restreamer or some other tool on the same system to achieve advanced PTZ patrolling - when the IPcamera supports ONVIF/PTZ? Ideally, the camera should be schedulable for specific date/time ranges to follow a set of points for patrolling.
