Problem with icecasts #483

Open mattiagasperotti opened 1 year ago

I tried several times to connect to an icecast server with the syntax icecast://username>:<password>@<server:port/ but it doesn't work and I can't extract any information from the logs. I tried to connect to a test server from your demo environment as well but it doesn't work. Is there any way to check if there is any bug?

Thank you

Hello @svenerbeck . I think it's a bug, not a "help wanted" :-/. Do you have any way to check if it's actually a bug?

Thank you, have a nice day

Hi @mattiagasperotti

We only process tickets with error logs. Here you can see how to get the log: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZMGrweFCsM — Thank you for being so understanding.

Good morning. Thanks, I've attached both the screenshot of the screen that stays in "loading" and the report.txt file.

Thank you

News with this bug?

Thx

Same problem here. When trying to save, this error appears in the console. As the error happens in the browser, the error log does not contain anything about the Icecast publication.

This only seems to happen when trying to add an Icecast publication with no video.

When I choose VP9 as video codec, the publication gets created without any problems and works fine. When removing the video from the publication, the same error as above shows up in the console of my browser and it doesn't save my changes.
