fact check the dates and temps #9

if someone looked up a temp on a date, would they see data that matches what we show them? why or why not?

actually, WHILE WE'RE HERE...

should we just use MDW data? we could nudge people to check out DAY_IN_HISTORY(this) via links to historical wunderground.
when i was doing that for a divvy sanity check, it was showing me midway-only data.
if it's good enough for wunderground...

excised the leapyear 2/29s, which seem to be fine.

on the spring rect overlay, something is still weird on certain years.
