Backup Pin requirement #194

I would like to know, is backup pin required necessarily to successfully request the HTTPS or providing a dummy pin like "BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB=" will work fine?
