Design Preview doesn't work on second monitor

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Click "Select Mirror Region", then drag the region to a second monitor. The 
mirror region is draggable to the second monitor but the content on the phone's 
screen is disconnected from it - it uses the "last known" region from the 
primary monitor.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect the phone screen to reflect the content in the second monitor 
where the mirror region is, not the content from the primary monitor.

Please provide any additional information below.
Using macbook pro 15" with a secondary 30" Dell monitor placed on the right 
(Google standard issue). Phone is a Motorola Atrix with 540x960px resolution, 
so the mac's screen content is not enough to fill the phone's screen (the mac's 
screen is 900px high). My only option to work properly on this phone would be 
to use the secondary monitor.
