In the EU every ("bigger") company has a tax number, in german it is called UID.
For a valid invoice you have to include both UIDs, so I recommend to include a 
database field called tax number for billers and customers.

Another database field I recommend is the article number so you don't have to 
use one custom field.

Hi souri,

I agree that there should be an extra field for the tax ID. Whilst it is 
possible to add this is using a custom field it should have a dedicated field 
as it is a legal requirement in a lot of countries.
