When using the \begin{align} and \end{align}, the page will not load:

This is on another page, where the page at least renders

The problem being, it's supported in obsidian, but not here.

What is Obsidian using to render it? Is it just plain MathJax?

Closed as upstream issue, I think. See Katex/Katex#1007
