Incorrect XP for Levels? #4

This issue was emailed to me directly. Posting it here so it's actually logged:

I have been using your program for a while just getting back into D&D again and 
reloaded your program on my new laptop but regarding the next level XP it says 
10000 I am only setting up a level 2 character it should read that if I am 
level 2 the next level should be 3000 instead of 10000 I think something in 
your code might have a glitch in the formulas.
