If you download from steamworkshopdownloader.io, (to install mods on non-Steam copies of Civ 6), that website renames the folder to the ID + the name of the mod (for legibility purposes).
The app wouldn't detect the folder when it was 'ID_name_of_mod' [even if I manually pointed it], but as soon as I renamed it to the ID by itself, it worked fine.

The mod folder for Civ6Mutation mode must be named '1742519440' (the mod ID), not "1742519440_Civ6MutationMode" or anything else.
