I drilled down on this a bit further and it appears that it is ONLY happening when 'Allow multiple opened sounds' is toggled ON. It is helpful to have this on just so I know what I've already played, even though I don't play more than one sound at a time.
Hope that helps.
Hi @TheDetour, thanks for reporting this bug! This seems to be an issue which occurs very often, but I can't reproduce this on one of my machines.
I need some more info: The app crashes only when playing sounds in a playlist, but not when playing single sounds? Does this issue occur only with specific sounds? And may I ask what hardware you are using? Thank you!
@Dav2070 Hey there sir. First of all, thanks for writing back and I really enjoy your product so far.
Interestingly enough, the issue is DIFFERENT today then it was previously. Previously, the sounds would stay in the list on the right toggled by the 'Allow multiple opened sounds option' and then crash. Now when they complete playing they simply move straight up and vanish from the list. I may be able to screen cap this for you if needed.
It had been happening with all sounds. The audio files I've been using with your program are ranging from 60 seconds to 4 minutes so far, but I plan to use 1
0-15 minute clips in the future.
In terms of hardware, it's a Lenovo laptop, but I can attach a DXDiag or something specific if you need. I've included a screen shot of where I'm playing the audio from and the settings I have selected.
Hey @TheDetour, thanks for your response. A screen capture of the app crashing would be very useful!
I just published v2.3.6 to the Store. Please install it and double click on the version number text in the settings. This will open a flyout containing your user id. Please send me that user id, so I can find your device and the crashes in my analytics.
Thank you!
Thanks!
I will get the new version and see if that solves the issue.

I think the new version has solved the issue.
One thing that would be AWESOME as a feature request (and I can post that separately if that would be better for your workflow) would be the ability to open multiple sounds at once on the right hand side but NOT play them all at once.
At any rate, I'm so glad I found your program and I'm excited to use it during my upcoming football season! Thanks again!
This is odd, I didn't even try to fix the issue with this update 😅 Did you do anything different after the update?
However, if you could still send me your user id, that would be very helpful. Just double click on the version number at the bottom of the Settings page to see it. And if the crash occurs again, please let me know, thanks!
I will... thanks!

@Dav2070 ... well... the strange saga continues... it's not working again.
I do have a screen cap this time!

I want to point out this happened when I had 3 files in the SoundBoard and is still happening with more files in there.
@TheDetour Thank you, the recording is very useful! I published a new update yesterday (v2.3.7), can you check if this fixes the issue?
Seems good so far. Thanks!

I'm playing .mp3s through a playlist and when the audio completes, the program just closes.
Windows 11, Soundboard version is 2.3.4.
