Fixed is_valid, changed away from property Removed todos / added more constants

This also completes the changes needed to make the invalid-data check work.

I figured out how to force invalid data.. reboot the gateway.. As long as it hasn't reached the thermostats, it'll give these bogus values.. (it will probably also say the thermostats don't exist.. so we might want to consider a periodic rescan in the future ..)
