Where are categories used?

In your documentation (https://www.getzola.org/themes/clean-blog/) it says

To use the theme, clone this repository to your themes directory. It requires that you use the categories and tags taxonomies

And I see at the bottom of each page where you use tags, but I don't see anywhere that you use categories. What was your thinking there?

Honestly I don't recall why they were required - it's likely I ran into errors building the site without them OR it was a pattern established in other themes. The categories do work though https://zola-clean-blog.netlify.app/categories/
