What version of BluezIME are you using? 1.16

What Android device do you have? What Android version? Motorola Photon 4g with
2.3.5

What gamepad are you using? Phonejoy

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run and Sync Bluez-ime with Phonejoy get Green Light, by turning on
Bluez-Ime as input device.
2. Run Gameboid, nesoid, ataroid, or gensoid
3. Hit Menu, Settings, Input Settings, key mapping

Please provide any additional information below.
It works fine in n64oid and fpse. In gameboid and the others listed the analog

stick to the right as button A, it still doesn't work in the game.

This fixed it " Comment 15 by project member kenneth@hexad.dk, Mar 19, 2011

Yes, something has changed. It appears that all key events are sent to the text
box.

You need to go to settings, other settings, and then check "use input method"
inside Snesoid.
I tried setting the buttons to literally send A,B,C,D and then configured
Snesoid to use those,
but it did not work until I checked "use input method".

"

It still says <unknown> but it works.

It says "<unknown>" because it sends some key values that are not defined for
Android < 3.0, but it works fine.
You can change the values to send something like "A" if <unknown> bothers you.

@nkyle.galicia: you need to check "use input method" inside gameboid.

Have someone found any solution?
I´ve the exact same problem!!!! It´s interesting that the joystick keys
works in Android system(Start works as Enter, and arrows works too). But In
Ataroid and Genoid only arrow keys works. Another keys appear as <unknown>, and
not work..

[SOLVED] Finally I found a solution using "USB/BT Joystick Center 2015"
Software.

This software allowed me to emulate the keyboard using the gamepad. Download
this at: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.free.usbjoyfree

Good luck!!!!
