Problem building with Java #87

Just letting you know that the software didn't compile under linux
directly, i had to modify the Make files so that it compiles the java files
using source level 5.0 by adding -source 5.0 to the javac . Hope this helps
anyone who faces similar problem.

It was mentioned that this might be due to java 6. Can this be confirmed? More 
info required!

You have all of the information that I have.  He says you have to force it to 
use
source level 5.0.  I'm sure Java 4 doesn't have the option, and I think Java 5 
would
default to source level 5 :P

Can you find a machine with Java 6 (or install on yours) and confirm?
