Would be very nice to create a Visual Studio Code Extension with 8048 mnemonics and compile integration.

That would be cool! I have pretty limited experience with Visual Studio Code. If you would like to work on this, let me know. I could help, but I don't think I could take the lead. I'm terrible at remembering to check github issues, so emailing me (mailto:david.hovemeyer@gmail.com) is generally the best way to get my attention.
