47 better handling of generics

• update changelog (not going to release this yet-- because I want next release to be net6.0-- but want to capture changes for when I do release it)

  • [DONE] fix readability of changelog, now that i have a lot of code examples, do bullets first and then subsections with the code samples
• [DONE] update readme with new examples for generics?? or create a wiki??
