This isn't really an issue but more of a FAQ question.  Does visualflexunit 
leverage any of the 
technology or approaches used in http://osflash.org/autotestflash ?

No. I wasn't aware of autotestflash. Just tried to check it out, but the "See 
it in
action" link on that page is broken... - Douglas
