Upgraded the version of Scala to 2.9.1 #1

  1. Upgraded Scala version
  2. Upgraded specs to 1.6.9 to match Scala 2.9.1
  3. Upgraded maven.compiler.source and maven.compiler.target to 1.6 (Java 6)
  4. Added a few ignores to .gitignore for anyone using the Intellij Idea IDE
