Can't bring up the concatenative voice #80

Hi, can you hehlp me to discover why I can't find the concatenative voice to use?

I went to the IBM ftp and downloaded the 6.7.3.2 version, also called 6.0 preview in some places, which is the latest version I found to have a concatenative voice for my native language, Brazilian Portuguese. I installed it, and I'm sure I have checked the check boxes for the male and female concatenative voices for the pt_BR language.

then I invoked the NVDA settings, set the IBM folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\ViaVoiceTTS, the library name to ibmeci.dll, pressed OK, then I was able to change to the IBM synth successfully. Since it started speaking with the formant voice, I went to verify the sample rate, and changed it from 11 to 8 khz, but it continues to use the formant voice, albeit in a lower quality. I saved the NVDA settings and restarted it just in case, but I'm still unable to find any voice different from the standard, formant-based Brazilian Portuguese and its formant variants.

How should I proceed please?

Some of the voices in that directory aren't quite functional, as they weren't updated to the current concatenative format. Looks like this is one of them. I might have some ideas on how to fix this, but it's not an issue with the driver as far as I know.
