Thanks for the notice; I had missed there was still a Suggests on rgdal here! Shouldn't be hard to fix.

I see the issue now; we had already removed the Suggests: rgdal back in January, but had to temporarily reinstate it (9e931bd174dc75fe08f9c0526d2e0f8a3514a718) to allow some test to run until we sorted out the dependencies in the INLA package, and then I forgot to go back and remove the spurious dependency here.
