Hi David

As per library i have used the pye57 code. But every scan points i want to extract the " 6 images ,camera sensor related entire information just like , Focal lenght, Axis point angle calculation, focal length(fx,fy) ,principal point ,Fov ,Rotational and translation matrix , theta calculation etc.

Could you please suggest that for extract the information from E57 ? / if you have source code please share with me.

Also please share your email id.

Hey Devendra, did you find your solution already? I think some of the metadata you can find in README in this github. Or maybe play a bit "cloudcompare". It can show the centent as a level structure of your E57 file

Hi bigeyesung

Actually i tried but not get it , also please suggest how can get 360 degree image from e57 file/CloudCompare ?

Q. How any 3D coordinates can identify the cubemap faces automatically..?

I am waiting your response..!

Hi Devendra, I am using CC v 2.11.1. If the E57 file contains images, you can just go to the drop-down list on the left side and download them directly.

Q. How any 3D coordinates can identify the cubemap faces automatically..?

If you mean by cubemap to equirectangular? I didn't find a way to identify the faces automatically.

Hi David

As per your above statement , i am using the CloudCompare v2.11.1 and already done same practice. but i want algorithm design ,if i have any 3d (x,y,z) coordinates which i dont know at which cubemap faces it will lie (top, bottom, back, Right front, left). that utopia i am looking for implementation purpose. Could please guide me ?

@Devendra-ML: I didn't find an automatic solution. From my experience, it generates a series of photo with a specific pattern (e.g.: top, bottom.....left).Then you can input them individually. The issue usually happens in the top and bottom photos that you need to rotate 90,180 or 270 deg. Have a look at this or other resources, let me know if you find anything. https://github.com/sunset1995/py360convert

Thanks, I'll check them out.

Question : how to generate the all cubemap faces matrix from e57 file through python program ?
