Make the search bar more obvious? #6

Some users have expressed a bit of confusion upon their first login that the main point of the site is to immediately begin using the search field to find beers. It may help to make the field more obvious somehow. Open to suggestions as to a good way to do this.

I didn't see the search bar until I came here and saw this ticket. Then i went back and it was immediately obvious.

I suggest moving it onto the dashboard. That's where i was looking since there's all that eye-grabbing red text there.

I agree it should be somewhere on the dashboard, though I'd like to keep it up top as well so that it will appear on every page. The top of the dashboard might end up feeling a bit too close to the header to me, but I'll play around with different locations.

Also making a note that I should put the search bar on the about page with the rest of the listed actions.

Actually. Yeah. I think on pages with those tabs, I'll put it next to the tabs to make it in a more obvious place. When singed out or on the about, welcome page, etc.. I'll put it in the header. I'll see how that looks
