It worked on file named "Interstellar.2014.720p.BluRay.x264.YIFY.mkv" but failed on most of the files. For example "Game.of.Thrones.S01E01.720p.BluRay.450MB.ShAaNiG.com" didn't worked, tried changing to "Game of Thrones S01E01" and "Game of Thrones S1E1". Added opensubtitles and addic7ed credentials still not working.

It worked for me after adding opensubtitles.org credentials. Make sure you have uncommented the line. I too have the same video file, no need to change its name.

@davidde I am also facing this issue , subliminal is able to download the subtitles after applying this fix. But script is not working for me.

after adding OpenSubtitles.org credentials the program finds subtitles for me, but apparently opensubtitles.org is deliberately preventing the download, it downloads an .srt file with only the following text in it:

1
00:00:00,001 --> 04:00:00,003
Become OpenSubtitles.org VIP Member
to get subtitles -> osdb.link/vip

I tested both my prefered language Portuguese and English, and both is getting that.
