I believe it should be mixed build under .net framework 4.5. I find similar problem in this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8712682/ninject-mvc-together-with-wcf-extension-does-not-work-with-inrequestscope

I'm not seeing a clear indication of what the issue is based on that SO question. I see one comment that says "FYI - went back to v2 and it works as expected (not a webactivator issue)".

If you think there is a WebActivator issue, can you please provide more details?
