Voice recording intermitent

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start the program
2. Record screencast
3. View screencast with a player

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The voice records intermitently.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ardesia 0.5 rev 1463 on Ubuntu Karmic Koala.

Please provide any additional information below.

Thanks a lot to the bug report; please check if you have the same problem
using an other redording system such as the recordmydesktop tool (can be a cpu 
problem)

In any case you can try to customize the file screencast.sh it use vlc to make 
the recording; try to lowering the sampling rate can be useful to decrease the 
cpu usage

The bug could be also in the vlc version that you have installed, we must check 
about this

Now the problem is fixed but is possible that persist a problem about the sync 
of audio and video, to fix this seems that must be used the vlc interlace and 
audio-sync filters but in ubuntu lucid the interlace filter is not found.
