It is need a build on windows of new 1.1 version.
Some critical point could be:
1) Rgba colourmap for highlighter and background images. See issue 21 and 25
2) Shaping input mask. See issue 45

A not GTK-3+ related task is that is required a new recorder implementation is 
needed in order to fix issue 19 and 36

Ardesia will be ported on windows when a stable GTK3+ binaries will be available
