Closed mkolchin closed 9 years ago

mkolchin commented 9 years ago

Server closed the connection

SebiPanther commented 9 years ago

I've the same Problem. I've tryed to use yowsup-cli instead of whatsapp-purple. I've tryed to request a new code. But the server denied my request with the message "blocked". :/

OGGolan commented 9 years ago

I've the same problem also. have you had any success fixing it?

rutja76 commented 9 years ago

Same here as of today, cannot connect to c3.whatsapp.net

ThYpHo0n commented 9 years ago

Same here, don't have the time right now to check wireshark but i think they've changed their protocol again... and are now blocking any different requests /o\

davidgfnet commented 9 years ago

I used it yesterday, actually 9 hours ago.... Anyone got it working?

giordano commented 9 years ago

It doesn't work for me: "Server closed the connection"

ThYpHo0n commented 9 years ago

Yesterday evening/night it was all fine here but since this morning it can't connect anymore. I've also tried different proxies (US, FR, DE).

mlopezgva commented 9 years ago

Same here, last connection 2014-11-12 19:57 GMT. Tried getting a new password, but it didn't solve the issue.

KottV commented 9 years ago

does not work [c c1 c2] .whatsapp.net, even with port 5222

mlopezgva commented 9 years ago

I've changed Android version from 2.1 to 2.3 and voilà, I'm on-line again... :) Please, try it and comment here!

KottV commented 9 years ago

mlopezgva no luck :( what did actually you typed in version field?

mlopezgva commented 9 years ago

Actually, I requested a new password and put it in, then changed server from c3.w... to c2.w... and changed Android version from 2.1[..] to 2.3[..], that's all the changes I made.

giordano commented 9 years ago

I set default_resource to "Android-2.31.151-443" and WHATSAPP_DEFAULT_SERVER to "c2.whatsapp.net", but I still cannot connect.

KottV commented 9 years ago

wow! thank you, change to 2.31.151-443 works and using c2. whatsapp.net for now

ThYpHo0n commented 9 years ago

Can confirm, changing Android version and server to c2 works!

rutja76 commented 9 years ago

Confirming here as well: it works with 2.31.151-443 and c2.whatsapp.net, port unchanged

giordano commented 9 years ago

Sorry, I recompiled the plugin but server and resource are stored in accounts.xml, now I can confirm I can connect changing those settings with values suggested by @mlopezgva.

davidgfnet commented 9 years ago

Thanks for the info. I might have different Android version on my computer since I usually backup my custom config.

Do you feel like creating a pull request for the default config? Thanks!

angelbladex commented 9 years ago

O_o i can't connect today

I read , Whatsapp was suspending users who dont use oficial app [Spanish] > http://www.somosblackberry.com/whatsapp-suspende-las-cuentas-de-los-usuarios-que-usan-la-aplicacion-oficial/

i did changes as metioned and nothing How works?

accounts -> Your Whattapp account -> Advanced
Change resourse to Android-2.31.151-443 . For any reason dont change this value via compilation :S

The change is required on ~/.purple/accounts.xml if file exist if apply grep, get this

grep Android accounts.xml

Android-2.31.151-443
ducklin5 commented 9 years ago

Thanks! changing of android version and server works!

matadi commented 9 years ago

Thanks, confirm that it works after changes (Windows - pigdin plugin)!

giordano commented 9 years ago

For what is worth, the plugin can connect using resource and server before commit https://github.com/davidgfnet/whatsapp-purple/commit/45fbbbb3a2275e5fd2bb7ac4e3f4d4bbb3868d80.

deanet commented 9 years ago

thanks

grobi68 commented 9 years ago

G R E A T ! ! ! Thanks for this help! Works on Windows and on Linux. Just changed Android version, not the server (still using c3...)

Azhturion commented 9 years ago

It works!! Thanks!!

styxtwo commented 9 years ago

Frozen-byte commented 9 years ago

Fixed with: c2.whatsapp.net Android-2.31.151-443 thanks ;)

mikibit commented 9 years ago

Confirmed c2.whatsapp.net and Android-2.31.151-443 works! Thanks :)

rizqyhi commented 9 years ago

Confirmed with c3.whatsapp.net and Android-2.31.151-443 works! Thanks ;)

davidgfnet commented 9 years ago

Changing to "Android-2.31.151-443" makes it work. We can use c.whatsapp.net if you prefer. Any c1,c2 or c3 should also work. Let me commit the changes and update.

dreamfighter commented 9 years ago

wow Changing to "Android-2.31.151-443" makes it work. awesome!!

lightonphiri commented 9 years ago

I was unable to use the plugin for the last few days. Changing from Android-2.31.151-443 worked for me as well---thank you for this.

mkolchin commented 9 years ago

from Russia is not working

SebiPanther commented 9 years ago

The same in Germany - it doesn't work for me. :/

masavini commented 9 years ago

hi, could someone please explain how to perform those changes? i tried and edit both the server and the "resource" fields in pidgin account configuration window, but i still can't connect... am i missing something?

grobi68 commented 9 years ago

Check your account via http://wassame.com/ or try to login with yowsup. Mybe your account is blocked. My was some weeks ago, because WhatsApp noticed that I do not use their App. I asked WhatsApp support to unblock my account and they did - but only once. Next time I will be blocked forever :-(

masavini commented 9 years ago

i guess my account is fine: i can login with my phone, is it enough?

gcalanna commented 9 years ago

Hi, I use c2.whatsapp.net and Android-2.31.151-443 and work, but ONLY group chat. The chat with a single contact does not work. WHY ? The message from http://wassame.com/ work.

prinxpronx commented 9 years ago

in Italy, this solution don't function :-/ Have you another idea?

angelbladex commented 9 years ago

@Azhturion Cool! Sorry fo this delay

gcalanna commented 9 years ago

From Italy c2.whatsapp.net and Android-2.31.151-443 works, but i receives only group messages and private messages ONLY if you have not upgraded whatsapp (blue waves)

prinxpronx commented 9 years ago

nothing...with these settings, it doesn't function

EnricoVerzegnassi commented 9 years ago

In italy works, thank you! :) c2.whatsapp.net Android-2.31.151-443

prinxpronx commented 9 years ago

ok, I reinstall pidgin, send a new code for password + add c2.whatsapp.net Android-2.31.151-443 and now it's ok! Thanks

masavini commented 9 years ago

can confirm:

In italy works, thank you! :) c2.whatsapp.net Android-2.31.151-443

password reset needed

mkolchin commented 9 years ago

Thank!

axel21a commented 9 years ago

since the last update of WhatsApp, messages are no longer visible. There are contacts, servers run, but do not appear on Pidgin incoming messages. instead the contact can see from your smartphone messages that I sent. I think that everything is due to double check blue. what can you do?

davidgfnet commented 9 years ago

Use S40-2.12.11 as resource OMFG

mikibit commented 9 years ago

Since 1 or 2 days I'm getting again the message: Server closed the connection. I was using... Server: c2.whatsapp.net Port: 443 Resource: Android-2.31.151

Now I tried "S40-2.12.11" and also "WP7-2.31.151" as resource but it didn't work

axel21a commented 9 years ago

I used S40-2.12.11 but the problem there is always, do not show the messages I receive, but my contact instead can see what I send.
