Whatsapp purple is not receive text messages. #299

I am unable to receive any text from individuals but the person who sent it reads that as seen. Help.

Please see other issues, this is duplicated. Depending on how you got your password whatsapp may think you are in iPhone or an android device and send ciphered conversations. In order to avoid that my suggestion is to try with a fresh number (some number that has never had whatsapp).

I do not get messages from some contacts, it is the same issue?

Somewhat yes. I can receive group messages but not individuals.

@davidgfnet Anyother possible way? It is like you are saying format your PC instead fixing a problem.

@Kartikey138 i fixed changing resource to S60-2.12.21

since i change to S60-2.12.21 now i can recieve any message but randomly, sometimes i get this message "unable to parse resource" from server what happen? its ok, or i missing something? i still can send & recieve message too...

Changing the resource to S60-2.12.21 for me works fine ;)
