You can get all of that from a Campaign with Influenced Opportunities report. Use the Auction Item Purchased (which is the Item Number) and the Auction Item Name field on the Opportunity record (you won't be able to link to the Item record itself), and get the Table information and Bid Number from the Campaign Member record. Make sure you select the Auction Attendees Campaign.

Has anyone linked Campaign Member information with Opportunites with Auction Item information? I can only ever seem to link 2 of the 3, even trying to create custom report types. I've also tried Campaigns with Influenced donations/opportunities, but can't get to the auction information I need from there. I'd appreciate any help!

I'm dreaming of an auction report to save us critical, tension-filled minutes in the heat of the auction from having to cross reference two separate reports. When our silent auction is done, I want a report showing the Auction Item information, how much was paid and who bought it, their bid number and where in the room they are sitting so we can let them know.

Specifically, I'd like to create a report that shows:

  • Auction Item information (like auction item ID and auction section)
  • Opportunity information (like amount bid for an item, opportunity name or ID)
  • Bid number and Table name

If I had one MORE wish, I'd like to add household information to it, but honestly, I'd be thrilled with the above.

new report Auction Item & Purchaser Info, which lists the auction item and who purchased it with their bid number and table info.

I backed out this new report and report type. All my attempts at using the report type "Campaigns with Influenced Opportunities" did not work correctly. Instead, I added a Bid Number field on the purchase opportunity, which the NewPurchaseWizard now sets. This allows reporting on purchases by bid number.
