Steps to reproduce:

Add these lines to a comment

a b c
Select all text (Ctrl+A) in the form.
Click on the "Insert a quote" button.
Click anywhere in the form or use the arrow keys to deselect the text -- the blinking text cursor will be hidden.
Click on the "Insert a quote" button again -- the blinking cursor will be visible again.

Browser: Firefox 59.0.2 64-bit for GNU/Linux. I get this error in a fresh profile without any add-ons installed (same thing as fail-safe mode).

I've been able to reproduce this in Ubuntu running Firefox 59. It looks like the issue may be specific to Linux. I've escalated this to our team so they can take a look. I don't have an ETA on a fix but this is in good hands :)
