Wrong labeling of Enable/Disable "Asynchronous edit action" #136

Closed AndreasGiesbert closed 1 year ago

AndreasGiesbert commented 1 year ago

The Enable/Disable description of the "Asynchronous edit action" in the "Tabs edition utilities" is interchanged. To activate one needs to click on disable and vice versa.

It's only a minor annoyance, but can especially confuse people that are new to moodle and should be easily fixed.

Thank you in advance!

Hi @AndreasGiesbert ...

The Asynchronous actions are enabled by default. So... disable is the required action in order to move resources using synchronous. Asynchronous move only is available in the same tab.

Saludos

Thank you @davidherney, I still have a hard time to wrap my head around it. All the colleagues I talked to are as confused by this description as me, as we expect "enable" to activate the option to "move resources between topic tabs". Maybe the issue is a misunderstanding of the terminology by me, what could possibly be fixed by a different description below.

When I didn't click anything, I can't move resources between topic tabs and see:

[Disable] Use this action in order to move resources between topic tabs. It only disables the asynchronous actions in current session, it is not permanently.

When I clicked on "Disable" so that I can move resources between tabs, I see the [Enable] link with the same description as above.
