Are you a happy Embla user?

Please help me out with creating a list of SP's (selling points). The SP list will go into the main README.

Why do you like Embla? What do you like about it? Leave your comment here and please keep it short. For example:

First class TypeScript support (written in TypeScript)

I've been using Embla for roughly a year now. For me, the reason why I'd pick Embla over any other would be:

It just works ™
Excellent documentation
Source code is easy to understand
Code is easy to use and extend, indepedent of framework
No depedencies!

I'm struggling to come up with anything that hasn't already been mentioned.. my own reasons are much the same as above. I stumbled upon Embla Carousel when I was looking into Slider libraries.

Embla won out because it was lightweight, unopinionated and worked for my use case of needing a plain JavaScript lib that also played nice with React.

I just found this library as a long-time user of Swiper.js looking for the next thing.

Not made in Russia. (kind of political, but also a major ongoing maintenance risk)
No hidden/magic stylesheet or enchanted class names; works with 100% native styles in any library. Tested MUI/Emotion, and Tailwind.
Mobile gestures work REALLY well, even on iOS. It does not block native pinch-zoom or scrolling. This seems like a bare minimum thing, but even Swiper didn't do it right.
Someone said unopinionated, but yes, I like that a lot too.
The events and API are very clean and satisfying to use in React with the hook.
Uses hardware-accelerated CSS stuff for drag, and avoids reflows. Blazing fast event handlers.
Real Svelte support.

I have more, but first of all would just say - excellent support! Most libraries don't respond to issues and questions at the speed which you do. I'm sure that might be hard to scale as the library gets more and more traction, but I truly appreciate it.

Dude, what an API! I went through the docs to setup a custom component in Vue. I really like how only the core functionality is abstracted away while the rest is easily available to customize. The documentation and buttery smooth animations are the cherry on top!

Our original purpose was to find a lightweight swipe library, we've made some tests with all the available ones but embla quickly stand out from the crowd.

Love the fact that it uses a hook with pure versatility in terms of implementation, the API is perfect and the documentation is really complete (and beautiful, special mention to the codesandbox on click) . On top of that you are super reactive to the community questions
