Suggestion 1:
A parry mechanic. Activated by pressing down, and would deflect a punch, giving the parrier a window to attack. Laggy.
Worried it'd over-complicate the design.
Suggestion 2:
Make jabbing laggier so it's easier to punish.
Worried it'd lead to overly-defensive play.
