In MultiTouchHandler class
int pointerIndex=(event.getAction() & 
MotionEvent.ACTION_POINTER_ID_MASK)>>MotionEvent.ACTION_POINTER_ID_SHIFT;

ACTION_POINTER_ID_MASK & ACTION_POINTER_ID_SHIFT
it says both of these are deprecated. Why?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Build: v22.0.1-685705 (ADT version)
compiler API 16: 4.1(jellybean)
OS: windows XP SP3

Please provide any additional information below.

ACTION_POINTER_ID_MASK & ACTION_POINTER_ID_SHIFT part stroked out.
It says deprecated.
Can Anybody help me out with the issue?

Use instead:
ACTION_POINTER_INDEX_MASK
ACTION_POINTER_INDEX_SHIFT

Change "ID" to "INDEX".
