What port do I need to forward to allow other people to connect to it? #447

Well I asked how I could allow other people to connect to my bots, one person said I needed to port forward them. So I port forwarded the port in the config (8081) and I tried using someone else's UUID when they had the userscript on, playing my private server. It didn't work. So what am I doing wrong and what are the steps to getting this to work (Hosting the bots on my computer but let someone else control them).

need to use your ext ip & set port forwarding on your router

Why don't they just run their own bots... Give them the userscript and get them to give them your UUID and run it for them. edit the userscript before you send it to them and then edit your config.js to ws://bots.myservers.io:8081 for the server. =)

Nothing much but just make them install the tampermonkey script and get their UUID and put it in the config, both connect to the internet and they will have the bots
