Hi @craynot sorry - sure I'm being dense but I'm, not sure I follow what checking to see if dir-local-variables-alist is defined accomplishes?

Hi @davidmiller, you're right, that makes no sense. Should i instead of this check if dir-local-variables-alist is pony-settings ? And maybe that current buffer is pony buffer (pony[.]+ *) ? Sorry for my poor knowledges of elisp and my terrible english :)
