For planning learning work outside of class, students can review good strategies and select. "Why it works" and "How to use it" for each strategy.

Companion to assessment strategies for teachers.

So maybe a common meta "Strategies" model.

HRT and YGL and teachers can see what strategies students are using and see relationships to assessment outcomes. Contiuous reflection and adjustment. Continuous learning and revision.
