Scenario: To Do List

Description

The basic functionality of this is present in the Xamarin.Forms templates of Visual Studio. It's a good starting point for persisting data, however if anyone has a better idea, we will absolutely entertain it.

Proposed spec:

• Initial state should have a handful of items
• Should have an empty list view that is sad and asks the user to either reset to the initial state or add a new item
• user can swipe left-right to complete a task, and right-left to remove a task
• user can add a new item from upper right
• user can enter a description (Editor maybe instead of Entry)
• user can select a due date in the future
• user can save
• user can delete an existing task

Please take liberty with this design and UX to create something even better than proposed. Let's collaborate and see where we can take the design.

Hey again, so... a few questions:

• how do you add a new task? a floating plus button maybe? also, what would the add page/flow look like & what do those colors mean?
• task completion is done by dragging the item to the right?
• do we persist these anywhere or is it just an in-memory list which resets each time you open the app?

Is anyone working on this item? If not, assign it to me. Just a few questions:

• Any problems with using in-memory storage on the 1st pass? (we can consider more durable storage later)

• This initial design seems fine, should anything else be considered?

• Any additional information than what's described above I should be aware of?

Arrgh, forgot about this. I meant to work on it but then some other stuff came up and no longer had the time. I guess anyone can pick it up? I think @davidortinau is handling the assignments?
