Packaged application under JDK 17 does not exit #1494

This sounds familiar.

But the packaged shall built in exports.jsh.Installation.from.current.package, when run manually, does not exit; it hangs. Yet the test passes, which seems to indicate the shell is exiting. More investigation needed.
