wait a little longer for the connection to establish #64

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. if there is a little delay in the establishment of the connection, the 
dialog fails

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The interface should wait a little longer

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

O.6 from svn
Linux

Please provide any additional information below.

Attached a patch to workaround this problem.
