Hi Guys

Recently came across your project. ZH Healthcare is one of the leading code
contributors to www.oemr.org. We were looking for a specific solution and was
wondering if your project could help us.

We have several thousand installation of OpenEMR, most of them not on static
ips. We have developed a new portal that will connect with individual OpenEMR
installations to query and display data on the portal. Currently it is only
working with installation which have static ip and we use SOAP calls.

We were wondering if using your project we can have individual installations
without static ip to be accessible to the portal. Sort of like the logmein
concept where the computer is always available for remote work.

Is this something doable with your project? We would be happy to donate code
to your project too if found workable.

Thanks and regards
Shameem

Thanks for your interest, I'm not sure how Gitso would fit in.

Thanks for your reply:

Here is what I expect to do.
A gitso server will run in our Portal with static IP.
All EMR installation will run the get help part of Gitso always pointing to the
Portal IP thereby establishing a connection without a static ip for the EMR.

Once the connection is established the portal will be able to make SOAP calls.
We just need the code that establishes such a connection, not the desktop
sharing or other features.

One question that arises is can the Gitso server part handle multiple client
connections at once?

Regards
Shameem

Doesn't sound like Gitso can do what you are looking for. Good luck!
