C-Kermit for Windows will see semi-regular releases for the foreseeable future if for no other reason than to keep libssh and openssl up-to-date. Once C-Kermit 10 is released for all platforms, we'll need a way of versioning the Windows and OS/2 version separately.
After a discussion with Frank, the best approach will probably be to:
Restore a K95 version number. Need to check with Frank where this should start, but my preference is probably 3.0 for the "stable" release.
Show the K95 version in the "show version" output
Show the K95 version in the GUI about screen
Make sure the K95 version is available as a variable for scripts
